James Bernard graduate of Cooper Union in 1975, has traveled extensively throughout Europe (Italy, France, Germany, Spain, & Luxembourg) in 1976 and has traveled throughout the Carribean, Brazil, and Greenland. Mr. Bernard has received an award Ethel Cram memorial prize in Art, was the artist of residence of Studio Museum of Harlem 1975-1978. 1982 - Exhibited with Justin Georges in NYC, exhibited with Barbara Harris 1982-83 - Did a painting with the permanent mission of Nigeria to the United Nations in NYC. Produced 3 Sculptured pieces and a painting for Restoration Plaza in Brooklyn in the 70s and has produced art work for the Bronx Black History month programs at the Supreme Court for the last 3 years.
